An accomplished communications professional who knows how to craft and deliver messages that produce results, Amy Sandling Crawford has served a variety of business and professional clients by writing press releases, coordinating extensive media relations and advertising plans, supervising development, design and production of printed and online marketing materials, composing award nominations, organizing trade show participation and assisting with crisis management.
Amy’s specialty is media relations - shaping and delivering client messages to media, then strategically following up to achieve publicity and ongoing media interest. Through her creative and intensive media relations approach, Amy has achieved publicity in local national and trade media for a wide range of clients including real estate developers and asset managers, retail electric providers, technology, medical practices, service firms, as well as non-profit organizations.
Amy has experience in agency and non-profit public relations, news and feature writing and television reporting. Prior to starting her own consulting practice, Amy worked for almost nine years at Dallas public relations agency C. Pharr & Company. Amy studied public relations at the University of North Texas (UNT), where she conducted public relations campaigns for a variety of non-profit and community organizations.
A contributing editor of the college text "Writing for PR," Amy has been recognized by the University of North Texas with the journalism department’s Distinguished Alumni of the Year award.
